Professor Mintah likely to join Hearts at the end of the season

Ex- Ebusua Dwarfs coach Professor J.K Mintah will take over as the new manager of Hearts at the end of the season, GHANAsoccernet.com can reveal.

GHANAsoccernet.com revealed on November 15, 2013 that the Accra side had contacted the Black Stars psychologist to take over from dismissed David Duncan.

However, the club opted to hand the job to Mohammed Polo after Professor Mintah and the cub failed to reach an agreement.

Media reports have resurfaced on Thursday suggesting he has agreed in principle to take over the side at the end of the current campaign.

Hearts current coach Mohammed Polo has not endeared himself to the club’s teeming fans following their inconsistent displays in the Ghanaian top-tier since taken charge of the club.

It’s widely believed that his six-month mandate won’t be renewed after failing to inspire the side this term.

The club’s top brass see Professor Mintah as the man to revive the side and end a long-wait for a Premier League crown.

GHANAsoccernet.com understands that Berekum Chelsea trainer Tony Lokko has also agreed to become his assistant.
