Ex-Ghana captain Stephen Appiah has revealed he has not quit football and wants to revive his club career.

The former Juventus and Fenerbahce star has been without a club since ending a four-month stint at Serbian side Vojvodina two seasons ago.

Appiah quit international football after the 2010 World Cup finals in South Africa but wants to sign for a new club.

“I haven’t announced my retirement yet, as the saying goes 'never say never' and until I have come out to announce my retirement anything can happen,” the 33-year told Joy Sports.

“I’m still training as you can see and I’m very fit so we will see what will happen.”

Appiah captained Ghana at their World Cup debut in 2006 and was a bit-part player of the quarter-final squad in South Africa four years ago.

At the just ended tournament in Brazil, he was drafted into the technical team of the Black Stars by head coach Kwesi Appiah.
