Former Ghana Football Association chairman MND Jawula has praised current chief Kwesi Nyantakyi for his leadership style and qualification to a third straight World Cup finals.

Nyantakyi has accused by a section of the media for bloating figures in the 2014 World Cup budget.

But others have great veneration for the lawyer who has brought some development to the sport.

Jawula says Nyantakyi deserves more praise than criticisms.

“Kwesi Nyantakyi is an excellent unity he has managed to bring unity into Ghana football and that’s what I did not have at my time,” Jawula said on a local radio station.

“Let’s try to forget they are corrupt and stop those baseless comparison between Ghana’s budget and the U.S.

“The man has done a good job for this country and we all must give him credit.”
