Ex-Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah expected in Sudan next week to sign Al Khartoum contract

Former Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah is expected Sudan next week to complete his lucrative move to Al Khartoum.

The 54 year-old coach relieved of his job by the GFA in September, has now reportedly signed a pre-contract agreement with the capital-based side.

Appiah US$ 39,000 a month -- more than the $30,000-a-month he earned from his two-year contract as Ghana coach which was abrogated two months ago.

Al Khartoum, owned by the Sudanese military, finished fourth last season and set to feature in the 2015 Confederation Cup.

Appiah was the first local coach to take the Black Stars to the World Cup but could not guide the .
