Ex-Ghana FA chairman Lepowura Jawula: Black Stars job too big for Maxwell Konadu-
Ghana interim coach Maxwell Konadu

Former Ghana FA chairman Lepowura MND Jawula claims assistant coach Maxwell Konadu is not ripe to be named the substantive Black Stars boss.

Konadu, who has been assistant coach since 2012, is an option for the vacant coaching job.

His proponents say he has garnered a lot of experience as an apprentice and should be giving the job on a permanent basis.

But Lepowura Jawula believes the job is too big for Konadu at this time.

''Most of our former players have proved that they can do the job if giving the chance. The likes of Silas Tetteh, Ibrahim Tanko,Marcel Desailly, Samuel Osei Kuffour, and Kwesi Appiah they have all proven it and of course if they get it,perhaps Konadu can assist any of them,'' he told Starr FM

''Konadu is my former player and I don’t want to debate this but I think it might be too early for him.''
