Ex-Ghana FA chief M.N.D Jawula is main speaker at 3rd Sports for Development seminar in Cape Coast

The third Sports for Development seminar will take place at the University of Cape Coast on Thursday.

Former Ghana Football Association chairman Alhaji M.N.D Jawula is the main speaker and will be speaking on the topic: “Grassroots Sports and their Implications for Sports for Development.”

Sports Minister Dr. Mustapha Ahmed is the chairman of the occasion.

The annual Sports for Development Series is a partnership between PLAYSOCCERGHANA/FIFA Football for Hope Centre and the Department of Health, Physical Education and Recreation of the University of Cape Coast.

The First Sports for Development was held in 2013 on the topic: "Principles of Modern Soccer Coaching" which was delivered by Ben Koufie and Chaired by Nana Sam Brew Butler.

Kwasi Nyantayi, Oti Akenten and other high profile dignitaries attended it.

The Second Sports for development Seminar was held 2014.

The Speaker was Rex Danquah and Chaired by Dr. Bello Bella Bitugu of the University of Ghana on the topic: "The Socio-economic benefits of Ghanas participation in the 2014 World Cup in Brazil".

It was attended by Tony Baffoe, Dr. J.K Ogah, Prof. Mintah and others.
