Former Ghana goalie Abubakar Damba says he is joining forces with Olele Kingson in convincing Adam Kwarasey to rescind his decision not to play for the Black Stars.

The 26 year old has turned down several appeals to return to the Black Stars after falling out with some members of the technical team.

Kwarasey accused then coach of the Black Kwesi Appiah of being influenced to change him in post for Fatau Dauda during Ghana’s chaotic world cup campaign before questioning the competence of goalkeeper’s trainer Nassamu Yakubu.

But with Ghana struggling to find a perfect fit in post Abubakar Damba says it’s time to join forces to bring back the Portland Timbers shot stopper.

“We all know the challenges we have in post and we all have to help to get the situation fixed,” Damba told GHANAsoccernet.com

“I think Olele knows all about goalkeeping and the line he has decided to lead needs supports from us all to get Kwarasey back.’”
