Former Ghana President John Agyekum Kufuor has backed boyhood club Kotoko to beat Hearts of Oak in Sunday's Super clash.

The Porcupine Warriors are in town this weekend where they will hope to continue their impressive performance against their rivals in the capital.

Kotoko have not lost in Accra for eight years and appear pumped up for another exciting contest against the Phobians.

But former Ghana leader John Agyekum Kufuor remains defiant about Kotoko's chances against their sworn rivals.

"Between Kotoko and Hearts over the years, anytime the two clash Its a clash of titans, spiritual matches, so it tends to be very difficult to predict who is going to win," he said

"But I will tell you on my side I am biased, Kotoko runs in my blood and so, Sunday I expect Kotoko will beat Hearts that's all."

Kotoko have been dominant over Hearts of Oak at the Accra Sports Stadium for the past 8 years.
