Frimpong Manso feels proud to have guided BA United back to Ghana’s elite division after a ten-year absence.

The Apostle of Ghana football recorded a vital 1-0 win over Real Tamale United in their penultimate National Division one playoffs to secure qualification to the country’s top-tier League on Wednesday.

Major Baah Tetteh scored the decisive goal at the Robert Mensah stadium in Cape Coast to maintain their 100% record in the playoffs and more crucially a ticket to the top-flight of Ghanaian football next season.

Manso, an ex-Ghana defender. has heaped praise on his charges for the marvelous feat.

“This is the proudest moment of my coaching career and I’m lost for word,” he said

“This is the biggest achievement and the memory will leave with me forever.

“I want to congratulate the boys for doing a marvelous work. It has been long time and I believe this was our time.

“We have enjoyed tremendous support from everybody especially the fans of Cape Coast who cheered for us throughout the game. We are extremely grateful to them.”

United will clash with Africa United in their last game on Sunday with qualification to the top-flight already secured based on a superior head-to-head with second-placed Berekum Arsenal.
