Ex-Ghana defender Sammy Kuffuor believes Jonathan Mensah should Evian if he wants to build his career and considered a top class.

Mensah, 24, joined the French outfit in 2011 but many believe he has not lived up to his immense potential.

The former Udinese intelligent centre-back has been linked with a move to stellar European clubs including Manchester City, AS Monaco and Newcastle United.

The powerful defender is touted as one of the finest players to have emerged from the African country despite failing to step up to the plate at the top level.

Ex-Ghana star and former Bayer Munich ace Sammy Kuffuor believes he can only gain international recognition his talent if he joins a top European side.

“I can imagine him, Jonathan Mensah at Bayern. He will be a great player if he should join Bayern,” he said

“Teams like Dortmund, Manchester United, Manchester City, PSG, Madrid and Barcelona are all good places he can fit very well because of his great qualities.

“If you can get a player of his class, you need to try it. I am sure: if he doesn’t go to Bayern, he will probably go to another big international club such as Real Madrid or Manchester United or Dortmund”.
