Ex Ghana striker Junior Agogo is coaching kids in his base in the UK.

It is however unknown of the 35-year-old’s tutorship is on a professional basis.

Agogo has been doing a lot of media work and also runs his own gym as part of his activities since his unofficial retirement from football in 2012.

The former Nottingham Forest hitman has now added mentoring kids on the football field as part of his post-professional activities

Agogo played for 15 different clubs in his professional career which spanned over a 15-year period.

He however failed to overly assert himself on the international stage after earning his first Ghana call up in 2006.

The burly striker went on to score 12 goals in 27 appearances for the Black Stars between 2006 and 2009.

He is most remembered for his time with the Black Stars during the 2008 Africa Cup of Nations hosted on home soil.

Agogo was then the poster boy of the Ghana team and was always the target for photograph opportunities by the fans.

He was also very popular amongst the Ghanaian ladies with one man famously offering his granddaughter to him for marriage during the tournament six years ago.

A subsequent move to Egyptian club Zamalek however proved abortive to Agogo’s professional career as he struggled thereafter to secure a regular spot at the clubs he eventually joined.
