Ex-Ghana Under-17 assistant coach Isaac Opeel Boateng wants ‘lazy’ Avram Grant sacked for naming a ‘useless’ squad ahead of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Mauritius.

The former Chelsea gaffer kept majority of the players who played for the Black Stars during the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations in Equatorial Guinea.

The 60-year-old failed to give players on the fringes a chance to fight for a place with Portugal-based Bernard Mensah the only new face in his team.

He kept faith with under-fire goalkeeping trio Fatau Dauda, Razak Brimah and Ernest Sowah for the clash at the Accra sports stadium on June 14.

And the former Kotoko assistant coach has been angered by the list released on Tuesday, labeling the Israeli as a lazy coach who must be fired.

“Avram Grant is a lazy coach. Even my mother can give us a better list. It is a useless list.” he fumed on Asempa FM

“Look at the goalkeeping department. Some players don’t deserved call-ups. He must be sacked.

“He chooses to stay in England and asks his assistant to monitor the locally based players. What kind of foolish attitude.”
