Ex-Ghana Under-17 captain Sebastian Barnes is relishing the prospect of coaching Hearts of Oak in the future.

The 35-year-old has acquired his Uefa license B coaching certificate and has now set his eyes on coaching his former club when the opportunity presents itself.

"I would like to bring my experience to help move the club forward, this was where I started and I deem it right to come back and take the club to greater heights," Barnes is quoted by goal.com

"Kumasi Asante Kotoko have done it with their former player Maxwell Konadu and it yielded dividends so I think with my huge experience as a player and coach in Germany, I can bring the glory days back.

He is currently the Under-17 coach of German side Bayern Leverkusen.

He captained Ghana to win the 1991 Fifa Under-17 World Cup which was played in Italy.
