Former Ghana winger Haminu Dramani has joined Ghana Premier League side Kpando Heart of Lions but he is yet to sign a contract with them, according to reports.

The 28-year-old free agent was hoping to join Ghanaian champions Asante Kotoko but the deal fell through and he has joined Lions along with former Asante Kotoko striker Ben Acheampong to train with them.

"They (Acheampong and Dramani), have been training with the team for four months now," he said.

Dramani, who scored for Ghana at the 2006 World Cup against the United States of America, left Portuguese side Gil Vicente at the end of last season and is seeking to relaunch his career on the local scene.

Acheampong is also a free agent after leaving Angolan side Petro Atletico and according to Lions none of the two players have signed a deal with the club.

The Ghanaian transfer window will close by mid-night on September 30.

"They are not training with us to be signed by the club but only want to keep active and fit."
