Ex-Hearts chairman Harry Zakkour has threatened to take legal action against Togbe Afede over unpaid monies owed him within a month.
Zakkour, nicknamed ââ¬Ëmillennium chairmanââ¬â¢, claims he is owed several thousands of dollars and has failed in numerous attempts to retrieve the money.
The famous ex-Hearts boss is furious over allegations of sabotage leveled against and now demanding for his cash from current board chairman Togbe Afede.
ââ¬ÅThey owe me some money. You see I bought most of the players during my time in office,â⬠Zakkour told Angel FM
ââ¬ÅI never declared them for profit because I know Hearts can never pay me. The likes of Bernard White, Ayitey Dormon, Sackey and Osmanu amongst others were bought by me.
ââ¬ÅI bought most of them from my own pocket but when they were sold I told them I did not need the money.
ââ¬ÅBut the last time we travelled to Africa, they borrowed $100,000 from me and thatââ¬â¢s the only money I need.
ââ¬ÅNow I want my money back. If they donââ¬â¢t give me within one month, I will take Togbe Afede to court not Hearts of Oak.
ââ¬ÅThe board of directors should know that I will take interest from Togbe Afede." he fumed.
Zakkour presided over Hearts glorious days when they won the CAF Champions League in 2000.
