Ex-Hearts goalkeeper Sammy Adjei is keen on a return to top-flight football to prove his critics wrong.
The 32-year-old is currently without a club after leaving Hearts last year.
The former Black Stars shot-stopper has claimed heââ¬â¢s on the verge of crossing carpet to join Asante Kotoko.
The former Ashdod glovesman says he is eager to return to the top of Ghana football to silence his doubters.
ââ¬ÅI am determined to get back to business and a deal with Kotoko is almost through as we speak which I am very confident will work out,â⬠he said.
ââ¬ÅI am a good goalkeeper and I know what I can do in the posts. Iââ¬â¢m sure everyone saw my performances with Accra Hearts of Oak over the years and that is evidence of what Sammy Adjei can do.
ââ¬ÅMy aim is to prove a point to all Ghanaians that I am still the best.ââ¬
Adjei has accused the Ghana FAÃ of hatred against him after been overlooked for national team call-up since 2008.
