Ex-Hearts management member Aziz Haruna Futah has congratulated Kotoko for ââ¬Ëwinningââ¬â¢ their third successive League title despite being in with a chance to upstage the Porcupine Warriors.
Hearts trail their sworn-rivals by nine points with seven games to end the season.
They were battered 3-1 at Liberty Professionals to throw their slim hopes to recapturing the tile from Kotoko into gear.
Aziz Futah, a former management member and staunch member of the Accra side, has heaped praise on the Kumasi-based for winning the League.
ââ¬ÅI want to congratulate Kotoko for winning the League. There is no way they will sit down for us to recapture the title from them,â⬠he said.
ââ¬ÅSo they have won the League. Itââ¬â¢s over for us. If you have such a coach, do you expect to win the League?
ââ¬ÅKotoko have done well and deserve all the plaudits.
Hearts will be keen to hold onto Champions League dreams as they host Heart of Lions on Sunday.
