Ex-Hearts management member Aziz Haruna Futah has congratulated Kotoko for ‘winning’ their third successive League title despite being in with a chance to upstage the Porcupine Warriors.

Hearts trail their sworn-rivals by nine points with seven games to end the season.

They were battered 3-1 at Liberty Professionals to throw their slim hopes to recapturing the tile from Kotoko into gear.

Aziz Futah, a former management member and staunch member of the Accra side, has heaped praise on the Kumasi-based for winning the League.

“I want to congratulate Kotoko for winning the League. There is no way they will sit down for us to recapture the title from them,” he said.

“So they have won the League. It’s over for us. If you have such a coach, do you expect to win the League?

“Kotoko have done well and deserve all the plaudits.

Hearts will be keen to hold onto Champions League dreams as they host Heart of Lions on Sunday.
