Ghana Premier League returnees Great Olympics have offered to sign ex Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Sammy Adjei according to reports in the local media.

The 33-year-old is currently unattached having left Hearts of Oak last year.

Adjei made his name with the Phobians where he spent a successful seven years before moving on to Club Africain in 2004.

He eventually joined Israeli club Ashdod but has since struggled for consistency in his club career.

A return to Hearts of Oak in 2008 failed to achieve the desired results of shooting him back into the limelight.

Adjei has now confirmed he is listening to offers from Great Olympics who have won promotion to return to next season’s Ghana Premier League.

“Indeed I have had many offers from several clubs across the country, but I am weighting my options to see which club will help he return to my former self”, he told sportscrusader.com.

“Top on the list is Great Olympic as they want me to join them for the next football season.

“I have had meetings with some of their executives, but we are still talking.

“May be in a few days time, I will make up my mind on which direction I will like to go. But for now, I am still unattached and weighing my options.”
