Ex Hearts of Oak boss Harry Zakkuor predicts doom for the club ahead of the upcoming season

Former Hearts of Oak CEO, Harry Zakkuor has predicted doom for the Rainbow lads ahead of the upcoming season should the current administration of the club continue their lackadaisical way of management.

The Phobians have been at the cross roads for the past season and nearly got relegated last season but they held their guns to pick a draw against WAFA in the last game of the season to finished at the 13th.

Supporters and past directors of the club are not happy with the Togbe Afede-led administration since the traditional ruler took over the club five years ago.

Harry Zakour has since predicted doom for the club ahead of the season insisting the club can be relegated if the board does not change their ways.

“What happened last season should not happen again this season because if you don’t pay the players and groom a good team and you think you are going to use the same team this season, I don’t think it will be easy for Hearts of Oak,”  Zakkuor told Boss FM.

The club is yet to win any major silverware in seven seasons after their league title success in 2009, and last three weeks the players boycotted training due to salaries owed them.

Ahead of the upcoming season, former CEO of the club and now the 1st vice chairman of the ruling party NDC, has predicted doom for the former premier league champions should the current administration continue the way they are managing the club.
