Former Hearts of Oak goal Machine Awudu Adama wants the Phobians to purchase the best of players in this transfer window to enable their surge to return to the summit of Ghana football.

The Phobians have struggled to come close to the form that made them a force to reckon with both in Ghana and on the African continent at large.

Issues of lack of player quality and mismanagement at the board level has crippled the flow of the Oak tree in recent times.

But after just doing enough to finish 6th in the just ended First Capital Plus Premier League, Awudu Adama wants them to purchase the best to enable their push to reclaim the league title next season.

“My prayer for Hearts of Oak is simple and that is I want them to get the best of players on the local scene,” Awudu told GHANAsoccernet.com

“At the end of the day it is the quality that will tell and we have to be able attract the best in this country.”

“It is one way of instantly improving the quality of play.”
