Ex-King Faisal coach Abugri on Okwahu United’s radar

Okwahu United are in talks with Stephen Abugri over the possibility of taking over the coaching reigns.

Abugri is current unemployed after he was sacked by King Faisal last month.

The second-tier side are determined to return to the top-flight after eight years in the lower division.

The Nkawkaw-based side have held discussions with Abugri over the coaching job.

Reports suggest talks between both parties have reached an advanced stage with  the trained teacher expected to put pen-to-paper on a long term deal.

Abugri masterminded  Faisal’s qualification to the elite division after a year in the second-tier and will be required to end United’s first division campaign by qualifying the team to the Premier League.
