Former captain of Asante Kotoko Daniel Nii Adjei says the priority of any new management of the club should be on improving the conditions of service of players.

A new board and management is set to be named for the Ghana Premier League giants with former Ghana defender Samuel Osei Kuffour being made the head.

This appointment is expected to be confirmed by club owner Otumfuo Osei Tutu II on Friday.

Nii Adjei who captained the Porcupine Warriors before leaving to join TP Mazembe has expressed concern over the frequent change in administration of the club but says the incoming administration should focus on raising the living standards of the players.

“The frequent change in administration at Kotoko is a bit of worry but then we all want the club to prosper,” he said.

“The incoming administration must focus on improving the living standards of players.

“When players are happy, they give off their best and win the games that need to be won.

“It will also help limit the rate of player exodus as players will always look for better their living standards.”
