Ex-Asante Kotoko Executive board chairman Dr K.K Sarpong has announced his retirement from football administration and has squashed reports that he is interested in the Ghana FA job.

The chartered accountant, whose brief spell at Kotoko was successful, has no interest to stage a comeback.

"There will be no return for K.K Sarpong into football, so everybody should relax his knees.

“I am not interested in any GFA position and after managing Kotoko, I don’t see the need to take up any club, because Kotoko is bigger than any football institution in Ghana including the GFA."

Dr Sarpong who has been credited with aiding Kotoko to win back-to-back league titles.
