Coach Mas-Ud Dramani says attempts made by his successor at Asante Kotoko to discredit him off last season's FA Cup triumph is simply disrespectful.

David Duncan in a recent interview implied that Didi Dramani could not be credited for winning last season's FA Cup title because he was away on national team duty when the final was played.

Dramani indeed missed out on the final as he was assigned to scout on the USA team for Ghana ahead of the 2014 World Cup.

His assistant Michael Osei was thus the man in charge of the team in the successful final against Inter Allies.

Dramani however insists he cannot be sidelined for the feat as he had led the team throughout the preliminary rounds up until the final and that any attempt to discredit him will be disrespectful.

"Well he says I wasn't around for the final but then what about the matches we played leading up to the final," he said.

"I was the head coach at the time and we had put in place a comprehensive plan before I left to Florida to scout on the USA team against Nigeria.

"I don't want to believe that he said this otherwise it will be quite disrespectful."
