Ex-Kotoko coach Mas-Ud Dramani has been appointed Ghana's Under-20 coach, replacing long-standing Sellas Tetteh.

Dramani will take full charge of the team upon his return from Zanziba where is holding a coaching course for the continent's governing body, CAF.

The former Kotoko tactician is hugely rated in Ghana after he guided the country's Black Maidens to clinch bronze at the 2012 FIFA World Under-17 Women's Championship in Azerbaijan.

The first batch of 30 players who were called up to train last week have been released to join their respective clubs ahead of the start of the new soccer season.

Ghana drew bye in the African Youth Champions qualifiers and awaits the winner between Ethiopia and Somalia in the second round of qualifiers.
