Ex-Kotoko striker Eric Bekoe has urged the side to pick up the pieces following their shock exit from the CAF Champions League.

The Porcupine Warriors bundled out of Africa elite inter-club competition after losing 1-0 at Liberian side Barrack Young Controllers last Sunday.

The defending League champions will return to the domestic scene where they tackle Medeama in an outstanding Premier League fixture on Thursday.

And former goal machine,  Eric Bekoe, who scored an incredible 42 goals during his one-year spell at the club, has urged the team forget about the setback and focus on their domestic title defense.

“The defeat is in the past now and so they must forget and look ahead,” he said

“You can’t change what has happened. It’s better for them to redirect their focus on the League and the FA Cup.

“When you win the League again, you go back to Africa and so there is no need to cry over spoilt milk.”

The two-time African champions will open a seven-point lead at the top of the table with victory at Tarkwa.
