Ex-Liberty Professionals coach George Lamptey has urged youngster Latif Blessing to ditch Kotoko and take up a new challenge in Europe.

Blessing, 19, is a top target for the Porcupine Warriors after he excelled heavily for the scientific soccer lads last season.

The youngster is rumuored to be in Kumasi after refusing to join Liberty's pre-season.

The current stand-off has heightened reports he could sign for the local giants after a rejecting a $700,000 move to Tunisian outfit CS Sfaxien.

But former Liberty Professionals coach George Lamptey has urged the wideman to snub Kotoko for a foreign contract.

“He is still young and got a lot of time ahead, but for me I will advise him to accept a deal in Europe, “ he told GHone TV.

“I wouldn’t advice him to join Kotoko, you know there are so many reports that he is going to Kotoko, but me personally I wish him rather moves to Europe.”

Blessing raked in 17 goals to win the goal king crown last term.
