Ex-Medeama winger Samuel Bio is urging the club's fans to remain patient following their unflattering start to the Premier League.

The Yellow and Mauves have been far from convincing this season, picking just six points from 8 games so far.

The 2016 CAF Confederation Cup campaigners are just above the relegation zone amid crippling fears among their teeming fans.

But former wideman Samuel Bio, who plays for Sudanese side Khartoum SC, says it will require 'time and patience' for things to turn around.

"I will plead with the fans to be patient. It's a very difficult moment but things will change," he told Tarkwa-based Medeama FM

"The players and the coaches will obviously not be happy with how things are going at the moment.

"But I am confident things will improve. It's just a matter of time. This is the time to remain solidly behind the team."

Medeama next take on Tema Youth in their next Premier League fixture on April 1.
