Ex-president Rawlings wants Ghana to win 2012 Nations Cup

Former Ghana president Jerry John Rawlings has tasked the Black Stars to win the next edition of the Africa Nations Cup.

Rawlings believes the team has the credentials of winning the African championship after missing out of a semi-final place at the 2010 Fifa World Cup finals.

"This is the best team ever to be assembled in Ghana. Let's start our march to the title by beating Congo in Brazzaville on Sunday," Rawlings said.

The famous ex-president visited the team during their training session at the Kasarani Stadium in Nairobi on Wednesday.
