Hearts of Oak received spiritual healing from ex rapper now turned pastor Lord Kenya before their win over Aduana Stars on Saturday.

The Phobians have been in turmoil since the appointment of Mohammed Polo late last year.

The win on Saturday in Dormaa was a massive result for the under-fire Polo especially on the back of two successive 3-0 defeats suffered at the hands of Wa All Stars.

Hearts of Oak officials admitted the club was in need of some sort of healing to revive their flagging campaign.

And they got lots of it from the ex ‘Sika Baa’ hit maker now turned pastor.

Lord Kenya preached the gospel to the players and led them into an intensive round of prayers, worship and praises before the crucial match against Aduana Stars.

The team was fortified with spiritual healing before they stepped onto the pitch to face the Fire club.

The spiritual healing did the trick as Hearts put up an impressive display to come away with the precious three points from the difficult Dormaa ground.

The spiritual healing is expected to sustain the Phobians for the remainder of the season as they put up a late challenge for the Premier League title.
