Milovan Rajevac favourite to land the Black Stars technical adviser job

Ex Sports Minister Elvis Afriyie Ankrah says he sees no problem in the imminent appointment of a technical adviser for the Black Stars so far as coach Kwesi Appiah is in agreement.

The Ghana FA are in the final stages of selecting the most suitable candidate for the job meant to give some impetus to the Black Stars’ technical team.

The appointment is down to two candidates according to reports – former Ghana coach Milovan Rajevac and Dane Flemming Serritslev.

There have been varied reactions towards this move by the GFA as part of its review of the technical team’s work following Ghana’s early exit from the 2014 World Cup.

And when asked of his opinion of the appointment of the technical adviser during the 2014 World Cup Commission sitting, former Sports Minister Afriyie Ankrah appears to agree to the move so far as Kwesi Appiah has given his consent.

“They key thing here is the position of the coach,” he told the commission.

“If there is evidence that the coach is the one who seeks the appointment of a technical adviser then I see no problem.”
