Ex-Spurs boss Francis: All the pressure is on Chelsea

Former Tottenham boss Gerry Francis can see Chelsea's title push collapsing.

Francis, who managed Spurs in the mid-1990s, reckons the pressure could get to Antonio Conte's men in this season's run-in as it has to many elite sportsmen in the past.

He told Sky Sports: "It's Chelsea's to lose, football is not played on paper, you've got to go out there and do it.

"The pressure side of things [can have a huge effect], we see it in golf, in snooker, in darts.

"World class players, world class champions can all miss a two-foot putt or a miss a double six times or whatever. That's what pressure does to you.

"This is the biggest league trophy around and these players have the chance to win it.

"Someone can always slip up and the pressure mounting on these two teams is immense."
