Ex-Ghana striker Augustine Arhinful has launched an astonishing attack on Emmanuel Agyeman Badu for deciding at Udinese this season.

Arhinful believes the player will lack playing time this term by deciding to pledge his future with the club.

Agyemang-Badu made eight appearances for the Udinese side which finished fourth last term to secure a Uefa Champions League slot.

However, he opted to stay with the side despite the massive interest from some stellar clubs in Europe and fight for a place in the Little Zebras squad.

But Arhinful has warned that the box-to-box midfielder could regret his decision.

''I was surprised he (Agyeman Badu) decided to stay with Udinese because he will struggle for first team play. I have played in Italy before and their style of play is very different and they won't allow a foreigner to play as a defensive midfielder," Arhinful told Accra-based Citi FM

He added that: ''Valencia called me through an agent and so they sent me a fax and they wanted him in the first team.

''If he had gone to Valencia I'm very sure by now he'll be playing regular but he decided to go Udinese through and agent and things are not working for him. But he's a very good player who should not be sitting on the bench."

Badu joined the Italian outfit after winning the 2009 Fifa Under-20 World Cup.
