Ex-WAFA star Majeed Ashimeru delighted to score in Austria for Wolfsberger

Former WAFA midfielder Majeed Ashimeru was on fine form over the weekend for his Austrian side Wolfsberger as they thrashed Samuel Tetteh's LASK Linz 3-1 on Sunday.

The schemer scored a sensational goal after intercepting a ball in the middle of the park before racing all the way to beat the goalkeeper to score the third goal of the game.

Maajeed Ashimeru is currently on loan from Red Bull Salzburg since joining from WAFA and has been a revelation for the club in the Austrian League.

Following his amazing performance in the game, the Ghana shared his excitement on scoring in the game to beat his former teammate, Samuel Tetteh.

He posted on Twitter," Great win. Glad to be on the score sheet. Come on Wolfsberger AC."

 

 

 

The 20 year old's impressive performances is likely to see him return to his parent club with chances of breaking into the senior side.
