Regan Obeg is set to join Dutch giants Ajax Amsterdam.

Dutch giants Ajax Amsterdam are on the verge of signing Ghanaian prospect Regan Obeng from Serbian side Napredak, GHANASoccernet.com can exclusively report.

The former Ajax and Serbia striker Marko Pantelic recommended the youngster to the club’s director of football Mark Overmars.

GHANASoccernet.com understands the 19-year-old and his club will meet officials of the Dutch champions on Tuesday to finalize his move.

Obeng, a defensive midfielder, and could cost Ajax 1.5 million euros.

His current deal with Napredak runs out in January 2016.

The former Asante Kotoko player is also on the wish list of Belgrade giants Red Star and Partizan.

Spanish La Liga duo Malaga and Valencia are rumored to be interested.

Obeng has been playing at Napredak sine 2012 and made 24 appearances last term scoring one goal.
