EXCLUSIVE: Astana reject €1.2 million offer from Bursaspor for top striker Patrick Twumasi

Published on: 11 August 2017

Astana have rejected a â‚¬1.2 million offer from Bursaspor for in-demand Ghanaian striker Patrick Twumasi, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.

The deal has been scuppered after the Kazakh champions demanded a straight forward cash of €1.5 million for their prize asset.

Bursaspor were hoping to pay the amount in installment but that arrangement has been shot down by Astana to throw the deal off balance, GHANAsoccernet.com can reveal.

Twumasi, 23, has been angling for a move away from the club and has told officials about his intentions.

Astana chief Sayan Hamitzhanov admits there are offers for the Ghanaian but insists he will be available for the Champions League group stage eliminator against Celtic
