CEO of AshantiGokd SC Cudjoe Fianoe has tagged the transfer of Baba Rahman to English Premier League champions Chelsea as a venture which will increase the commercial value of Kumasi Asante since that was his last local club before moving out of the country.

The Ghana FA executive committee member hints that wven though Baba Rahman was on loan at Kotoko, it does not rule out the fact that he played for them and that is very important.

"What I know is that Dreams FC loaned Baba to Asante Kotoko. But since the boy has played for Kotoko before they will obviously benefit from his solidarity mechanism ", Fianoe told Ghanasoccernet.com

"Apart from that having the name of the club on his CV and attached to his profile most clubs in Europe would want to know know where he is coming from and that is a big advantage for Kotoko".

The AshGold CEO believes that Asante Kotoko can take advantage of the move to create a market value for themselves outside the country with other football teams.

Baba Rahman played for Dreams FC as a mother club before moving to Kumasi Asante Kotoko for a year making 25 appearances in the Ghana Premier League.
