Captain of Ashantigold SC Lawrence Lartey has disclosed that the club's performance in this year's league must be attributed to the consistency the team has enjoyed over the years.
The league leaders have been on top of the table after match day three and has since glued their position yowards winning the league for the first time since 1995 and the captain insist it is as a result of consistency.
"We have been very consistent for about three years and I think that is our driving force. Most of our players have been with us since 2010 and are still us".
"Our coach is one of the most experienced coaches in the country and has used his experience to guide us because at some points, we nearly lost focus".
"For now, all the players have ut as part of our agenda that we are fighting on till we win the league".
Ashantigold SC last won the league in 1995 as Ashanti Goldfields and will be winning it for the first time in 20 years if they win it this year.
