Former South African PSL Competitions Manager and Caf Licensing Instructor Kubelo Bosilong has lashed out at Ghanaian clubs to rise up from their lazy couches to create value for their clubs employing experts to run their clubs for them.

Bosilong believes that the commercialization of soccer in Ghana can only be a success of club employ the necessary expertise to run their offices rather than relying on family and friends.

The Caf Licensing Instructor  who is now a sponsorship  consultant for clubs in South Africa revealed that until club turn their attention to putting in place the appropriate structures it will be difficult to be as successful as they wish to be.

"One thing we usually tell club administrators to do is to hire the appropriate people to manage their clubs to create value for their brand", Bosilong told Ghanasoccernet.com

"What they must always know is that the clubs are brands and they need to create value for it. A brand is valuable and only remains so as you make it.  Once that brand becomes valuable it creates opportunities for prospective sponsors to want to associate with it", he added.

Bosilong insists that if Ghanaian clubs will see branding as part of their work the football clubs will not struggle in securing sponsorship.
