Danish giants FC Copenhagen are interested in  signing hugely talented Ghanaian midfielder Majeed Ashimeru, GHANAsoccernet.com headquarters can exclusively report.

Ashimeru, who plays for Premier League side West African Football Academy, has attracted lenses from the European outfit.

The highly-rated 20-year-old, is regarded as one of the most promising youngsters to come through the ranks at WAFA in recent times and it's understood a number of top European clubs are interested in his signature.

GHANAsoccernet.com headquarters sources say the Danish powerhouse are seeking to offer the youngster a straight deal after receiving glowing scouting reports.

A number of European clubs are also keeping close tabs on the highly-rated midfielder, who has contributed immensely to the Ghana Premier League leaders.

He has scored three goals and provided NINE assists for the Academy Boys while winning EIGHT Man-of-the-match accolades in the Ghanaian top-flight.

It appears his days in the local league are coming to an end as growing interest continue to mount for his signature.

Ashimeru earned a late call-up into the Black Stars ahead of the two friendly high-profile matches against Mexico and USA - but was subsequently left out of the traveling squad.
