Ghana winger Theophilus Anoba has terminated his contract with Ismaily and signed a new deal with an unnamed club, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.
The highly-rated Ghanaian winger canceled the deal after the Egyptian outfit failed to fulfill their obligations to the player.
The move has sparked massive uproar among the Ismaily fans who are up in arms with their officials for letting their prize asset go.
The 25-year-old, who joined the side on a four-and half-year deal from Ghanaian side Medeama, was the fans’ favourite with his sublime performances for the side.
The former CHAN star endeared himself to the local fans with his enviable qualities and unique style of play, making him an instant hit at the club since joining in January this year.
Anoba, who has not been short of offers since leaving the Egyptian outfit, has signed a new deal with an unnamed club, Ghana’s leading football outlet, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.
The former Ashantigold star is one of the exciting wingers to have emerged from the West African country.
