Ghana’s 2014 FIFA World Cup coach Kwesi Appiah arrived in Khartoum on Thursday to hold talks with Al Khartoum SC to become their next coach.

On Tuesday, Ghana’s leading football website, www.ghanasoccernet.com, broke the news that the ex-Ghana international has been contacted by the military owned club.

He is expected to conclude talks with the capital-based side on Friday and will pen a two-year contract.

The 54-year will be offered a mouthwatering financial package he cannot turn down.

Appiah was dismissed as Black Stars coach two months ago just after supervising a 3-2 win over Togo in Lome in a 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.

According to GHANASoccernet.com sources, renowned Ghanaian FIFA agent Oliver Arthur brokered the deal.

Arthur, who owns ArthurLegacy Sports, is currently in Sudan negotiating a deal for his client Augustine Okrah to giants Al Merreikh.

Al Khartoum SC finished fourth in the just ended Sudanese Premier League and will play in the 2015 CAF Confederation Cup.
