Daniel Larbi Koomson is close to signing Asante Kotoko

Ex-Medeama midfielder Daniel Larbi Koomson has agreed to join Ghana champions Asante Kotoko during the second transfer window, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.

Koomson is without a club after leaving the Mauve and Yellows at the end of last season.

The former Local Black Stars playmaker has agreed to join the defending League champions during the second transfer window.

Koomson, who also featured for BA Stars, is also believed to be eyeing a move to an unknown German side.

The Porcupine Warriors are anxious to fortify their squad ahead of their participation in next year’s CAF Champions League as they have struggled to score goals this season.

Their only recognized striker, Seidu Bancey, has struggled with injuries so far with Yahaya Mohammed used as a false attacker.
