Adamu Mohammed has signed a two-year contract extension with Dedebit FC.

Former Asante Kotoko defender Adamu Mohammed has extended his contract with newly crowned Ethiopian champions Dedebit FC, Africanfootball.com has reported.

The centre-back has signed a new two-year deal with the Addis Ababa-based side which will keep him at the side until 2016.

Mohammed has been at the club since 2011 and key player of their set-up.

He will get to play in next year’s CAF Champions League qualifiers.

The 2008 moved to Turkish Super League side Genclerbirligi in May 2008 but failed to impress in Europe.
