Former Asante Kotoko defender Ben Adama Banh has exclusively told GHANASoccerent.com he has signed for Guinean side AS Kaloum Star.

Ghana’s leading football website, www.ghanasoccernet.com, has revealed the player’s next destination after the Ghanaian champions announced he had been queried on his surprise absence from camp.

The Ivorian’s contract with Kotoko expired on 01 August and the club made attempts to renew his contract.

Adama had been part of Kotoko’s non-residential pre-season camping in Kumasi but absented himself right from 12 August.

The club found out that he had travelled to his country without permission from management.

Before that, the left-back had refused to show up when management requested him to come for contract extension talks.

“We wanted him around for his passport renewal, he was absent. The same applies to his work permit renewal, he was absent. We didn’t find him,” Kotoko’s Operations Manager George Kennedy told Kotoko Express.
