Four Ghanaian players have missed out on the Promise of the Year award which is given to the promising player in the Belgian topflight.
The four Jeremy Doku, Joseph Paintsil, Francis Amuzu and Jonah Osabutey were beaten to the award by 18-year-old Anderlecht midfielder Yari Verschaeren.
Verschaeren finished top of the voting list with 320 points.
Among the four, Doku finished with the highest points 6 and placed 16th. He is followed by Paintsil on 17th with 4 points.
Amuzu and Osabutey finished 23rd and 26th with 2 and 1 points respectively.
