Adviser of Ghana defender Baba Abdul Rahman, Kurt Okraku has hinted at the imminent departure of his client from Augsburg at the end of the season.

Interest in the 20-year-old amongst some of the elite clubs in Europe keep soaring following the full-back’s impressive displays in the German top flight.

Real Madrid, Chelsea, Inter Milan and Borussia Dortmund have all been linked with summer moves for the Ghana international.

The player’s adviser though revealing the plan for his client is to remain at Augsburg for at least one more season, the heightened interest in him could force the club into making a sale this summer.

“Normally, I would say that he [Baba Rahman] has to stay in Augsburg for one more season but the level of interest shown by very big clubs in the world of football makes it a bit difficult perhaps for Augsburg to hold on to him,” Okraku told GHANAsoccernet.com.

“But you don’t know, in football anything is possible. At the moment he has a contract with Augsburg and he intends to respect the contract.

“But clubs keep calling so you’ll never know what Augsburg will decide to do.”

Baba Rahman is playing in just his first season at Augsburg having arrived at the beginning of the current campaign from Greuther Furth.
