EXCLUSIVE: Ghana defender John Boye set for France return, agrees deal with Ajaccio
Ghana defender John Boye will return to France as he is seeking to leave Turkey

Ghana defender John Boye is set to return to the French top-flight after reaching a deal to join Ajaccio, Ghana's leading football news outlet GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.

The 28-year-old, who plays for Turkish side Kayseri Erciyesspor, has reached an agreement over his personal terms with the French side.

Boye will return to the Ligue 1 just one year after leaving the French top-flight to pursue his dream of playing in Turkey.

However with Kayseri Erciyesspor relegated from the Lig 1, Boye want to keep his place in the Black Stars which means he must play in the top leagues of Europe.

This resulted in his decision to leave Turkey to return to France where competition is keener.

And with Ajaccio looking for an experienced central defender ahead of the start of the new season, they have targeted the Ghana defender Boye to boost their squad.

But Ajaccio must reach an agreement with Kayseri Erciyesspor before the deal is completed as Boye has already agreed with them over the switch, agents close to the deal have exclusively told GHANAsoccernet.com.

Boye played for French top-flight side Rennes before leaving for Turkey.
