Ghana Premier League champions Aduana Stars are set to strengthen their squad with the arrival of former MTN Soccer Academy champion Jamal Arago as they prepare for the CAF Champions League next year, Ghanasoccernet.com can exclusivelyreveal.

The champions will not be carried away by winning the Ghana Premier League for the second time but are making frantic efforts to make a huge impact in next year's CAF Champions League campaign and are determined to strengthen their squad for the exercise.

Insiders at Aduana Stars have disclosed to Ghanasoccernet.com that negotiations are far advanced for the former Berekum Chelsea youth star to put pen to paper in a two year deal.

The experienced left back who sometimes plays as a center back, a holding midfielder and a left winger will provide the champions with a lot of options as they venture into Africa's most prestigious club competition.

Arago, 24, who recently aided Finnish side AK Kajaani to gain promotion into their 2nd tier league is under the microscopic lenses of clubs in Norway, Denmark and Belgium but sources close to the talented left-footed player say he wants to have a feel of the Ghana Premier League to relaunch his career.

Arago, who signed his first international contract with Greece side Atromitos has had a tupsy turvy moment in Europe and is determined to use the Aduana Stars platform to push himself to the top again.

The player is expected to be in Dormaa Ahenkoro this week to complete the paperworks in the two year deal before commencing preseason with them.
