Ghana striker Matthew Amoah has begun training with Dutch third-side Kozakken Boys to stay fit ahead of the January transfer window, GHANASoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.

The 34-year-old has been without a club since leaving Eredivise side Heracles Almelo but looking to return to competitive action.

But there are rumours the former NAC Breda could sign for the lower division side.

Amoah was at the training ground of the Werkendam-based side at his own request but has been accommodated by the club who are at the summit of the Topklasse table.

He has in the past played Vitesse Arnhem, Fortuna Sittard, Borussia Dortmund (Germany), NAC Breda and SC Heerenveen.

Amoah has ruled out retiring anytime soon and aims at signing for the new club when the transfer windows re-opens.
